Friday Feels

{Firework gazing on the fourth of July}

I used to do a monthly blog post called “Looking Back” where I’d share pictures of random happenings in my life from that past month. I thought I’d change the series up a bit where every Friday of the week I’ll share tidbits of that particular week. Here is the first of many Friday Feels. I hope you enjoy it!

Between my London trip, marathon training, crazy work schedule and celebrating birthdays, September was a whirlwind. I’m happy temperatures are lowering just a bit (just a little bit only) so I can pull out my comfy sweaters and leggings.

A few days into October and my to do list is piling up for the month.I’m really looking forward to running the Baltimore Half Marathon next week with one of my best friend’s Caroline. We are planning a fun weekend in DC and fun brunch plans for after the run! Other than that, traveling is coming to a stop until Christmas break but I’m happy to be here and get settled before moving uptown!

Here is a recap of my looking back to last month.

Summer has come and gone so quickly. These past few months have been full of travels, adventures and new experiences. I couldn’t have asked for a better time. Even though I am sad to see these summer months go, I am definitely getting ready for the upcoming fall. I have this giddy back to school feeling inside but instead of buying new notebooks and binders, I’m ready for a wardrobe change. I’m also feeling re-energized for the next four months of 2015. I’ve loved writing these Looking Back posts – it gives me an opportunity to not only reflect on the past month but also reflect on what’s upcoming too.

Here are a few tidbits from my Instagram from August. I’d love to know what adventures you have in store this fall!

Happy Summer! As July has come around really quickly, it finally feels like summer is here! Everyone seems to be in the mood to run outside, invite people over for BBQs, drink margs on rooftops and lay outside by crystal blue pools in the Hamptons. And it is all a very happy feeling indeed.

This long 4th of July weekend was really great – I explored Manhattan since it was absolutely empty which was heavenly. I was able to get a 7:30 pm reservation at Santina, a new restaurant in the Meat Packing district, where 7:30 pm is a time that usually needs to be reserved months in advance. I’ve been dying to try this new, hip place and let’s just say it was absolutely delicious. I also walked everywhere all weekend which felt amazing and I was able to finish week one of marathon training! Let’s just say July has started off on a very positive note. In just a few short weeks, my big summer trip to Greece is coming up and I am beyond excited. It will be a very interesting atmosphere because of recent political events but nonetheless amazing as it always is.

What did you do this past weekend for the fourth of July? I would love to hear about what you were up to! Here are a few of my favorite Instagram snaps from June – if you don’t follow my adventures yet, be sure to do so @cestmoinatasha on Insta!

It’s June party people! How did we get here so fast? It’s already mid 2015! It was a bit of a bummer waking up this morning to June gloom rainy NYC weather but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to another great month. Summer barbecue plans, a weekend trip to France, and good friends visiting town, has me all excited for these next upcoming weeks. Do you have any fun June adventures planned? Tell me, I want to hear all about it!

Between Greekster, Passover and Williamsburg, it’s definitely been an adventurous month. My gym schedule has been pretty consistent too which makes me a very happy girl. I’ve also discovered snapchat a few weeks ago which has been a huge game changer. I was kind of living under a rock and didn’t really understand snapchat but now I kinda love it. How do you feel about it? Follow me on snap, Natasha Kardassis, if you dare!

There is still a TON to look forward to in May and I can already tell it’s going to go by in a flash. My weekend plans have filled up with a Mother’s Day gathering, Memorial weekend traveling, and friends NYC visiting, but hey I am not complaining!

These April pictures are from my insta – don’t forget to follow all of my adventures at c’est moi natasha!

Looking Back

{Pretty bathroom decor in Boca, FL}

March absolutely flew by. From a beautiful Florida trip, to spending time with friends brunching in the city, to a laid back March Madness weekend in New Jersey, it was overall a great month. As the weather is warming up and April is coming into play, there is so much to keep looking forward to. I am spending this weekend with close family and friends celebrating both Passover and Easter, my cousin from France is visiting me next week to explore New York City, and I am celebrating two years with the boyfriend at the end of the month!

I really want to thank you all for continuing to read c’est moi natasha. This has been such a fun journey – your supportive comments, kind notes and thoughtful emails are so encouraging and very much appreciated. I enjoy sharing parts of my life here on the east coast and I also love sharing my adventures through c’est moi natasha’s instagram account (don’t forget to follow me!). There have been a lot of happy moments to look back on but here are some of my March favorites!
