Party Time

The Oscars are finally here and Sunday night prosecco is definitely in store. If you’ve been reading c’est moi natasha for a while, then you know I’m a big award watcher. These past few weeks, I’ve been trying to watch as many Oscar nominated movies as I can but I still haven’t seen LaLa Land! Even though I’ve heard it’s amazing, I hope it doesn’t sweep up ALL of the awards..

This year, silver, gold, black and white stole the dress show. Some really amazing looks took over the red carpet. I can’t wait for the Oscars to start in just a few minutes and if you haven’t filled out an oscars ballot, it’s not too late to do so! Here are my favorite 2017 looks (I had a lot of faves this year, everyone looked stunning):

Olivia Culpo

Isabelle Hupert

Emma Roberts

Karlie Kloss

Chrissy Tiegen

Kristen Dunst

Jessica Biel

Ruth Negga

Taraji Henson

Emma Roberts

Nicole Kidman

Brie Larson

Alicia Vikander

Naomie Harris

First Fashion Moment of the Year

Last night kicked off the first big fashion moment of the year, the Golden Globes. Relaxing on my Restoration Hardware couch over a nice glass of Chianti wine made the perfect Sunday night. Getting into glam mode watching my favorite celebrities rock their stunning gowns on the red carpet is just plain fun. Meryl Streep totally killed her speechEvan Rachel Wood looked pretty awesome in her suit and Millie Bobby Brown is just the coolest twelve year old ever.

Blue & Gold

IMG_7205After a great fourth of July weekend in New Jersey, I’m ready for another long weekend! If you didn’t catch my Facebook post the other day, our apartment renovations are finally complete!! I did two very adult things this weekend – I bought a couch at Restoration Hardware and a barbecue at Home Depot. Let me tell ya, it was pretty tiring. I am absolutely thrilled with how the apartment turned out after six, long, grueling months of intense renovations. All I want to do is jump up and down screaming “It’s done, it’s done!” I can’t wait to share more pictures on the blog so be sure to stay tuned!IMG_7216 IMG_7213 IMG_7212Outfit Details: Joie Tunic Dress (similar here) // Equinox Clutch //Vince Camuto Wedges

Sunday Feels

Screen Shot 2016-02-21 at 8.42.06 PMSpring weather and outfits have been top of mind lately. Coats, leggings and boots are starting to get heavy to wear and over worn sweaters definitely need to be cleaned out. Time to start anew!

I planned a trip to Florida at the end of March and an upcoming gals trip to DC in April so that I can start looking forward to a few fun trips. I can’t wait to start whipping out some cute skirts, jean shorts and off the shoulder tops. Off the shoulder tops are something I’ve been currently obsessing over, especially in blue and white. Here are some Pinterest inspos I’ve been eying!Screen Shot 2016-02-21 at 8.45.50 PM

Plaid Galore

Screen Shot 2015-11-23 at 5.54.08 PMAfter a few tireless weeks of trying to get the site back up and running, I’m finally back! Apologies for the technical glitches and lack of posts – it’s been an interesting adventure not having access to the site and I have definitely missed my c’est moi natasha world. I really hope you have too!

The holiday season is officially upon us – temperatures are drastically dropping, turkey’s are getting seasoned and twinkling lights are being strung around homes, offices and towns. I am thrilled to be in my hometown of Princeton this week spending time with family and close friends, closing out the fall season together. My mom is hosting her annual Thanksgiving dinner with a whooping 30 people. I can’t wait to share a few recipes and hosting tips I’ve picked up through the years!

Plaid has been recently catching my eye every which way possible. I love the pattern and it’s especially perfect for this time of year. I’ve picked out a few of my absolute favorite looks and as you can probably tell, I see a plaid jacket in my near future “must need” list. What I especially love about Plaid is the versatility of the pieces which make them a closet staple – especially as winter is now upon us brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Shop the looks:

Top Row: Black and RedDress, Black Jacket

Second Row: Skirt, MZ Wallace Bag, Black Coat

Pep in my step

Tomorrow is October 1st and it’s still pretty warm out party people! As excited as I am to bust out sweaters and booties, I’m still enjoying the skirt no tights look. Over the weekend, I spent some time in New Jersey and wore this jean skirt in so many ways. It was so easy & versatile to bring on a weekend trip.

It’s always fun to come up with ways to transition summer pieces into fall staples. I have a few dresses I’ll look to pair up with a leather jacket and boots or rompers I’ll wear with tights underneath. The more creative I get with my wardrobe the more $$$ I can save!

September

A lot of important people in my life happen to have September birthday’s. From my father to my boyfriend to my boyfriends family, everyone is either a Virgo or a Libra. It’s always a really fun month filled with dinners, cocktails and celebrations which gives me something to look forward to. In London, I also found witty birthday cards that I was able to bring back to give to everyone.

Tonight, I’m heading to Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen for a joint birthday celebration and I can’t wait to try it. The menu looks unreal – hello oysters, clams and tartare. To celebrate, I decided to pair up some fun heels with black jeans and a bright shirt. Follow my Instagram to see what the food looks like tonight – mmhmmmm can’t wait!

One Trip, Five Outfits

Last week, I was in London on an incredible trip visiting my friend Casey and her husband Mike. They moved out there at the beginning of this year and I had been dying to go visit them to see what their lives were like there. Our friend Caroline also met us in London and we had an unforgettable week. We explored the entire city and saw everything we wanted to see on our to do list. From high tea, to exploring the artsy East Side, trying all sorts of food from Borough Market and shopping at Harrods, we really did it all. And we walked EVERYWHERE too which was an amazing way to get to know the city.

The more I travel, the more I’ve figured out what to pack. I thought I’d share with you five simple, easy outfits that really worked on my London trip. Which one is your fave?

Outfit #1: Boyfriend Jeans, Black Vans, White T Shirt, White Blazer, Scarf, Brown Fringe bag

Glam Squad

As you’ve probably already picked up on, I love watching award shows but it’s mostly because of the fashion. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, especially since it might be construed as straying away from what the award shows are really supposed to be about – incredible actors, actresses and musicians. While I do appreciate that, I can’t help that the clothes seem to really capture my attention.

The VMAs were on Monday night and besides Kanye announcing he was running for president and everyone not being sure what Miley was thinking, there were some pretty glamorous outfits. Here are my best dressed picks of the night!
